Nexo
A two-sided talent marketplace with AI-assisted evaluation.
Nexo refuses embedding in other sites for security reasons, so this is a capture. The real product opens in a new tab.
Context
Entry-level roles ask for experience that you cannot get without being hired first. Nexo attacks that deadlock by replacing résumé claims with evidence of execution: people solve real projects and build a record of demonstrated skills.
On the company side, that evidence has to turn into a hiring decision — search, comparison and pipeline in one place.
My role
Founder and engineer in charge. Product, architecture, database, authentication, billing and interface all went through my hands.
What I built
- Single Next.js application with dozens of pages and API routes in production
- Data modelling and access policies on PostgreSQL
- GitHub authentication and LLM-assisted repository evaluation
- Plans, credits and payment flows
- Bilingual interface with light and dark themes
Decisions
- One deploy instead of microservices: the bottleneck was finding the product, not scaling infrastructure.
- The AI organises and standardises evidence — it is not sold as an objective judge and does not replace human decisions.
- Tenant security and economy rules come before widening the product surface.
Real state
Alpha live since June 2026 and winner of Campus Mobile 2026. Adoption and retention numbers are not published here because they have not been reconciled yet — breadth of implementation is not proof of traction.
